First electric inspection vessel in the Netherlands equipped with Blokland systems

In 2019, Blokland Non Ferro has supplied the propulsion systems for the first fully ‘green’ electric inspection vessel in The Netherlands. The inspection vessel PW18 was first used by the Province of Groningen in December 2019.

Blokland Non Ferro has supplied CWS (closed water systems) propeller shaft systems and self-lubricated rudder shaft systems for the inspection vessel. By using CWS propeller shaft systems and self-lubricated rudder shaft systems, the life span of the system is improved while optimizing sustainability.
